[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] The KOSPI, which had fallen to the 3040 level in the morning due to the issue of capital gains tax hikes in the U.S. market, recovered to the 3080 level thanks to individual buying power, successfully turning to an upward trend. The market analysis suggests that the domestic stock market is taking time to relieve the burden from the recent rise and accumulate energy. Kim Younghwan, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, said, "The domestic stock market is accumulating energy to break through the critical point," and predicted, "It is expected to attempt to break through the upper bound of the box range next week."
He added, "In the short term, the stock index is facing resistance near the previous high, delaying the active inflow of individual funds," and "Once the box range is broken upward, individual funds are expected to flow in, allowing the stock index to level up."
