[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] According to Lotte Homeshopping on the 23rd, the 30-second "Korea Gwangclick Festival" logo song video (photo) produced with singer Song Ga-in has surpassed 1 million views on YouTube. It has been a week since its release on the 16th. The concert footage movie "Song Ga-in The Drama," released through the Lotte Homeshopping mobile application, is also popular, receiving hundreds of supportive comments immediately after its release.


Lotte Homeshopping stated that they chose singer Song Ga-in as the model for this Gwangclick Festival because they needed a "national representative" level figure suitable for the scale and goals of the event. Lotte Homeshopping said, "The Gwangclick Festival is Lotte Homeshopping's flagship shopping event and the largest in the industry," adding, "Singer Song Ga-in perfectly matched the public recognition and the empathy with the target customers." Previously, the first Gwangclick Festival held last October, featuring golf star Park Se-ri, was also a great success.


Lotte Homeshopping has put great effort into this Gwangclick Festival, which runs for 10 days starting from the 23rd, by offering shopping support funds (Gwangclick support funds) amounting to 10 billion KRW. A total of 2,500 brands and 500 billion KRW worth of products will be sold at discounted prices. During the 10 days, 100,000 customers will receive discount coupons worth 10,000 KRW daily on a first-come, first-served basis, along with up to 10% card discounts, preferential treatment for L Club members, and a raffle event for "Jeju Art Villas accommodation vouchers."


Joo Mina, head of the marketing team at Lotte Homeshopping, who was in charge of recruiting Song Ga-in, said, "The collaboration with Song Ga-in was very successful, and it is already receiving great interest from customers, so we are also looking forward to this spring's Gwangclick Festival."
