Seoul City is planning to develop a fashion innovation hub in the area around Hwanghak-dong, a traditional market district spanning approximately 320,000㎡, by investing over 110 billion KRW in a double station area development project connecting Sindang Station, Cheonggu Station, and Yaksu Station. This project is linked with the relocation of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Mobile Headquarters. As a result, the Dongdaemun Fashion Town area is expected to transform into a key hub for the domestic fashion and apparel industry.
At the same time, urban regeneration projects such as Wangsimni New Town and Sindang New Town are seeing significant participation from top-tier domestic construction companies, leading to rising land values. The Hwanghak-dong area is experiencing a sharp increase in land prices due to its designation as a special planning zone for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers site and the National Medical Center.
In the past, the Hwanghak-dong area was a commercial district but had been underdeveloped. However, rapid changes are underway due to various development projects. Recently, Hillstate Cheonggye Central sold out immediately upon opening, and residential officetels such as Hanyang Lips and Metahime have begun construction, signaling that Hwanghak-dong is set to transform into a large-scale residential complex.
In line with this trend, the ‘Cheonggye Adelia 2’ residential officetel is attracting attention in the Hwanghak-dong area of Jung-gu, Seoul.
Cheonggye Adelia 2 is a residential officetel consisting of one building with 20 floors above ground and 2 basement levels, comprising a total of 131 units with exclusive areas ranging from 30 to 46㎡. It is a residential product suitable for 1-2 person households, newlyweds, and 3-person families, comparable to small apartments.
Cheonggye Adelia 2 boasts excellent transportation conditions. It is located within a 5-minute walk from Sindang Station, a transfer station for Seoul Subway Lines 2 and 6, and about a 10-minute walk from Dongmyo Station, a transfer station for Lines 1 and 6. Additionally, within a 1 km radius, there are multiple subway stations including Dongdaemun Station (Lines 1 and 4), Sinseoldong Station (Lines 1, 2, and Ui-Sinseol Line), Sangwangsimni Station (Line 2), and Cheonggu Station (Lines 5 and 6), providing easy access throughout the metropolitan area.
Moreover, convenient road networks such as Majang-ro, Dasan-ro, and Nangye-ro are nearby, and major arterial roads including the Inner Circular Road, Dongbu Expressway, and Gangbyeonbuk-ro facilitate easy access to all parts of Seoul.
Located in the heart of Seoul, Cheonggye Adelia 2 offers abundant living infrastructure. E-Mart and Seoul Central Market are within walking distance, and various amenities such as the National Medical Center, Chungmu Art Center, and Dongdaemun Design Plaza are easily accessible.
Regarding educational facilities, there is a concentration of elementary, middle, and high schools including Gwanghui Elementary, Soongsin Elementary, Sindang Elementary, Muhak Elementary, Hanyang Middle, Doseon High, Seongdong High, Seongdong Technical High, Hanyang Technical High, and Seongdong Global Management High School.
The ‘Cheonggye Adelia 2’ promotional center is located in Jung-gu, Seoul, and operates by prior appointment to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
