[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Honam University announced on the 21st that it is recruiting startup support items for the 2021 academic year to foster entrepreneurial mindsets and promote startups among enrolled students.
The Honam University LINC+ Project Group Startup Education Center is accepting applications from today until the 4th of next month for startup support items, providing up to 8 million KRW (differential support depending on the item) to prospective entrepreneurs who have been recommended by their academic advisors and can maintain their business for more than one year.
The submitted items will undergo evaluation, and startup support recipients will be selected on the 13th and 14th of next month, after which the prototype production process for the items will proceed under the guidance of the academic advisors.
In particular, when sales occur through the commercialization of the items, preferential benefits such as priority admission to the Honam University Startup Incubation Center, support for patent application and registration fees, opportunities for domestic and international training, and participation in practical and marketing education such as startup academies and startup camps will be provided.
Those wishing to participate in the project can access the Honam University Integrated Information System, download the application form from the academic administration notice under startup support announcements, fill it out, and submit it to the Startup Education Center of the Employment and Startup Support Group on the first floor of Sangji Hall.
