Woori Bank to Launch Partnership Credit Card with Deposit and Withdrawal Features and Special Preferential Interest Savings Account Soon

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Woori Bank announced on the 21st that it has signed a business consignment agreement with Lotte Card for joint financial product development and marketing cooperation.
At the signing ceremony, Woori Bank CEO Kwon Kwang-seok and Lotte Card CEO Jo Jwa-jin, along with key officials from both companies, attended and agreed to continue broad cooperation such as launching partnership products that meet customer needs and joint marketing utilizing both companies' digital platforms.
This month, the two companies plan to launch a Lotte Card equipped with Woori Bank's deposit and withdrawal functions, which will be available for subscription at Woori Bank branches, internet banking, and the mobile banking application (app) One Banking.
They also plan to gradually expand their business areas by launching competitive financial products reflecting various customer needs, such as high-interest savings accounts offering special preferential interest rates.
Previously, Woori Bank became a major shareholder by acquiring a 20% stake in Lotte Card in October 2019, building mutual trust, and has been continuously promoting agreements between the two companies.
Woori Bank CEO Kwon Kwang-seok said, "Through the agreement between the two companies, Woori Bank customers will have access to various financial products from Lotte Card, and Lotte Card will share Woori Bank's sales channels, creating a convergence synergy." He added, "We will continue to grow together through broad collaboration between the two companies."
