Hyundai Home Shopping signed a business agreement (MOU) with Ulleung-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do on the 20th to revitalize the local economy.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Hyundai Home Shopping announced on the 21st that it will officially launch the ‘Local Government-Linked Win-Win Project’ to support sales channels for farms producing local specialty products.
This project is a social contribution program that sells specialty products produced by farms selected by local governments using TV home shopping operated by Hyundai Home Shopping, Hyundai H Mall (online mall), and Shopping Live (live commerce).
In particular, TV home shopping will be conducted in the form of a free win-win broadcast with no commission fees, and the online mall and live commerce will reduce sales commissions to about half of the average level. In addition, for local farms without experience operating online malls, one-on-one consulting will be provided on overall operations such as store entry and product registration, and to promote local specialties, live commerce show hosts will be dispatched to the local area to conduct live broadcasts from the production site.
On the 20th, Hyundai Home Shopping signed a business agreement (MOU) with Ulleung-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do to revitalize the local economy, and will hold an Ulleungdo online tour event through TV home shopping, Hyundai H Mall, and Shopping Live on the 30th. On TV home shopping, from 1:40 PM on the same day, Ulleungdo’s representative specialty, myeonginamul, will be showcased, and on Shopping Live, from 1:00 PM, Ulleungdo travel products, squid, bujikkaengi, hobakyeot, and more will be sold live from Ulleungdo.
A Hyundai Home Shopping official said, “Starting with Ulleungdo, we plan to operate the win-win project with more than four local governments within the year,” adding, “We will continue efforts to provide practical help in revitalizing the local economy.”
