Ministop Opens 'Superbites 2nd Branch', a Fast Food Specialty Store

Ministop Opens 'Superbites 2nd Branch', a Fast Food Specialty Store Ministop has opened a fast food specialty store, 'Superbites Korea University Branch'.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Ministop announced on the 21st that it has opened a fast food specialty store, ‘Superbites Korea University Branch.’ Superbites is a fast food store operated by Ministop, offering hamburgers, chicken, coffee, soft cream, and more at reasonable prices without unnecessary markup.

The Superbites Korea University Branch is the second store following the Sinchon branch, which opened in December last year, located in a university dining alley mainly frequented by people in their 20s and 30s. Ministop plans to verify Superbites’ competitiveness in the university commercial district, where many competing chains exist, and subsequently promote franchise recruitment.

The interior of the Superbites Korea University Branch was newly designed to suit its main customer base. The new store interior focuses on providing a stylish and bright atmosphere to attract customers’ attention. White and black checkered tiles cover the entire store floor to create a strong impression, while Superbites’ signature yellow and dynamic red colors are used as accents to add a lively touch.

Reflecting that a significant portion of the Sinchon branch’s sales come from delivery and takeout, the Superbites Korea University Branch offers various non-face-to-face services to customers from its opening. Customers can place orders through kiosks inside the store and use delivery and pickup services via various delivery apps.

To commemorate the opening of the Superbites Korea University Branch, Ministop is holding a giveaway event. Customers who purchase in-store or via delivery at the Superbites Korea University Branch will receive KF94 masks (2,000 units). Customers who spend over 10,000 KRW will receive a Superbites mug (700 units), and those who spend over 20,000 KRW will receive a Superbites tumbler (70 units).

A Ministop representative said, “Since this commercial area has many competitors, we will strive to be chosen by customers through Superbites’ differentiated products and service competitiveness. After verifying and improving the product and store operation processes through direct store management, we plan to start recruiting franchisees.”
