Korea National Park Service Conducts Upcycling Baek Volunteer Activity for Carbon Neutrality Practice

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Baegamsa Office of Naejangsan National Park under the Korea National Park Service announced on the 20th that it will conduct volunteer activities with upcycling bags to promote carbon neutrality for citizens exhausted by COVID-19.

The upcycling bags are creations made through the talent donation of Naejangsan Baegam resource volunteers, utilizing discarded banners within the park as upcycling products.

In addition to using the upcycling bags when volunteering and accumulating Green Points, recycling separation tips provided by resource volunteers will also be offered.

Kim Byungsoo, Head of Resource Conservation at the Baegamsa Office of Naejangsan National Park, said, “Through national park volunteer activities with upcycling bags, we will strive not only to revitalize the diminished volunteer activities but also to contribute to the practice of carbon neutrality.”
