[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] Former People Power Party emergency committee chairman Kim Jong-in and People Power Party lawmaker Jang Je-won are engaged in an unexpected 'kkobong' (minion) verbal dispute, accusing each other of being 'kkobung.' When Kim referred to Jang as "Hong Jun-pyo's kkobung," Jang immediately retorted by calling Kim "No Tae-woo's kkobung."

On the 20th, in an interview with a media outlet, former chairman Kim strongly criticized lawmaker Jang, saying, "He is Hong Jun-pyo's kkobung," and added, "I don't even acknowledge him. If he wants to bark, let him bark."

In response, lawmaker Jang posted on his Facebook, countering former chairman Kim by saying, "It doesn't seem appropriate for No Tae-woo's kkobung to say that." He continued, "I'm truly relieved not to be Kim Jong-in's kkobung."

Lawmaker Jang also pointed out, "You say you don't acknowledge him, yet you are earnestly engaging with him," and criticized, "Your cheap perception that every critic's words have political intentions and backgrounds is truly fitting of a political broker."

He added, "It seems urgent to first treat the 'severe cognitive dissonance' where you change your words depending on your situation without feeling any shame."

Regarding former chairman Kim's remark to former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl that "People Power Party is a chaotic mess and he shouldn't join," Jang fiercely criticized, "He even mocks the People Power Party," calling it "a cunning move filled with venom like a snake's tongue and a cheap brokerage."

Earlier, on the 13th, former chairman Kim harshly criticized the current situation of the People Power Party after the emergency committee system ended in an interview with a media outlet. He described the party, where a leadership struggle occurred, as a "chaotic mess," saying, "I no longer have affection. The senior members of the party showed no interest in fielding our party's candidate ahead of the unification. Seeing this behavior, I thought I should leave the party immediately after the election."

He emphasized again, "I will never go to the People Power Party." Regarding former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl's political moves, he predicted, "I don't think he will go to the People Power Party. What benefit is there in going to that chaotic mess? There might be a situation where he moves to a new party, as former lawmaker Geum Tae-seop mentioned."
