The number of people who received the first dose is about 32.85 million, roughly half of the total population (about 67 million). The UK started vaccinations in December last year and expanded the first dose target to those aged 45 and over from last week. After Pfizer and AstraZeneca, Moderna vaccinations have recently begun.

The daily confirmed COVID-19 cases in the UK once reached 70,000 but dropped to 1,882 on Sunday, the previous day. The number of deaths was 10. The number of COVID-19 tests recorded was about 988,000.

Due to the strong lockdown measures started in early January and vaccinations, confirmed cases have decreased in the UK, and recently, store operations and outdoor seating at restaurants have become possible.
