Bosung-gun Beolgyo-eup Welfare Blind Spot Discovery Campaign Launched

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Beolgyo-eup Administrative Welfare Center and Beolgyo-eup Hope Dream Council in Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Cheol-woo) conducted a street campaign on the 19th at Beolgyo Station Plaza and other locations to eliminate welfare blind spots.

About 50 people, including members of the Beolgyo-eup Hope Dream Council (co-chairmen Seon Nam-gyu and Jo Hyo-ik), employees of the Beolgyo-eup Administrative Welfare Center, and residents, participated in this welfare blind spot discovery campaign.

Volunteers appealed to residents' interest for socially marginalized groups in welfare blind spots who need assistance from the government, local governments, or private sectors but are not receiving support, by visiting the 5-day market.

Seon Nam-gyu, head of Beolgyo-eup, said, “We will continue to do our best in field-centered, visiting welfare service administration to continuously discover welfare blind spots.”

Meanwhile, during the campaign, reusable shopping bags made to reduce disposable waste were distributed, alongside a campaign to practice reducing daily waste.
