Magnitude 3.7 Earthquake Occurs Northwest of Heuksando, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do

Earthquake at approximately 2:20 PM at a depth of 15km

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] At around 2:20 PM on the 19th, a magnitude 3.7 earthquake occurred 54 km off the coast of Heuksando, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the epicenter was located at 35.07°N latitude and 125.08°E longitude, with a depth of 15 km.

The instrumental intensity was a maximum of 2 in Jeollanam-do. An instrumental intensity of 2 means that only a few people on the upper floors of buildings or those in quiet conditions can feel it.

The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "No earthquake damage is expected."
