According to the Haenam Police Station in Jeonnam on the 19th, at around 8:34 PM the previous day, a 1-ton cargo truck driven by A (54) collided with a motorcycle ahead on a road in Hwangsan-myeon, Haenam-gun, resulting in the deaths of a 27-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman who were on the motorcycle.

At the time of the accident, A's blood alcohol concentration was measured at a level that led to license cancellation.

The police have booked A on charges including dangerous driving causing death under the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Crimes (commonly known as the Yoon Chang-ho Act) and are investigating the details of the accident.
