'Friends Green Life,' which applies Hyosung TNC's Regen, is the first eco-friendly product line introduced by Kakao Friends, popular for its uniquely cute characters. This collaboration aims to raise consumer awareness about the environment by creating eco-friendly products with familiar characters through Hyosung TNC and Kakao Friends.
Regen is an eco-friendly polyester fiber made by recycling discarded transparent PET bottles. As 'ethical consumption' that considers the environment increases recently, Hyosung TNC has been meeting consumers through collaborations with various fashion brands, producing masks, T-shirts, bags, and more.
Kakao Friends has been making both raw materials and packaging eco-friendly since this year. As the first step, Hyosung TNC's 'Regen' was selected. The Friends Green Life cooler bag is made using eco-friendly materials from the materials to the packaging. To reduce plastic waste, one cooler bag is made from 3.3 pieces of 500ml PET bottles and the product is packaged in eco-friendly vinyl.
The portable simple cooler bag can be purchased for 19,000 won at Kakao Friends' online and offline stores starting on the 19th, featuring Ryan and Apeach character designs. Additionally, reusable ice cups, lunch boxes, and water bottles are also available.
