[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] LG Electronics recently collaborated with the luxury jewelry brand Bulgari to host a private event introducing the LG SIGNATURE OLED R at Bulgari stores located in Geneva and Zurich, Switzerland, inviting local business partners and VVIP customers from both companies, the company announced on the 19th.
Bulgari is one of the brands owned by LVMH, the world's largest luxury group. LG Electronics explained that this event was part of a VVIP customer-focused marketing campaign aligned with the overseas launch of the LG SIGNATURE OLED R. LG Electronics expects significant synergy from this joint event, as both LG SIGNATURE OLED R and Bulgari share the commonality that their target customers purchase products based on brand value rather than price.
Earlier, LG Electronics also conducted joint marketing with the world-renowned luxury car brand Bentley ahead of the domestic launch of the LG SIGNATURE OLED R at the end of last year. The LG SIGNATURE OLED R supports various viewing modes including Full View, which allows watching the entire screen as it rolls out; Line View, which exposes only part of the screen; and Zero View, which completely hides the screen.
Roberto Marino, CEO of Bulgari Switzerland, said, "The LG SIGNATURE OLED R perfectly matches the premium value of Bulgari products, which are made with the finest materials and advanced technology." Kim Ji-gang, head of LG Electronics' Switzerland branch, stated, "We will seek opportunities to share the differentiated lifestyle presented by the LG SIGNATURE OLED R with VVIP customers and build a fandom for LG OLED TVs."
