Vaccinations for Police, Firefighters, and Military Personnel Moved Up from June to End of This Month
Vaccinations for social essential workers such as police, coast guard, firefighters, and military personnel aged 30 and above will be moved up from the original schedule in June to the end of this month or early next month.
Due to restrictions on AstraZeneca vaccinations for those under 30 to prevent thrombosis side effects, 640,000 people were excluded from the second quarter vaccination target, so this vaccine will be used for vaccinating social essential workers.
The government plans to maximize the number of first-dose recipients in the second quarter. AstraZeneca vaccines stored for second doses at nursing hospitals will be recalled and prioritized for first doses for other target groups, with vaccines arriving later in the country to be used for second doses.
