Cases 1766, 1773~1775, 1778, and 1780 were confirmed through contact with previously confirmed Gangnam-gu residents; cases 1767, 1776, 1777, and 1779 were confirmed through contact with confirmed cases from other regions; cases 1768, 1769, 1771, and 1772 were confirmed due to symptoms such as loss of taste, but their infection routes are unknown and epidemiological investigations are ongoing.
Case 1770 tested positive during an entry screening.
Jung Soon-gyun, the district mayor, stated, "We ask all residents to strictly follow personal hygiene guidelines, and especially those under self-quarantine to adhere to self-isolation rules such as refraining from going out, so that we can cooperate to minimize confirmed cases in Gangnam-gu."
