The Korea Specialty Contractors Association Appoints Kim Seung-gi, Former National Assembly Secretary-General, as Executive Vice President

[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] The Korea Specialty Contractors Association Central Committee announced on the 17th that it has appointed Kim Seung-gi, former Secretary-General of the National Assembly (photo), as the Central Committee's Executive Vice Chairman effective the 19th.

New Executive Vice Chairman Kim passed the 10th Legislative High Examination and has served in key positions including Legislative Investigator of the National Assembly's Budget and Economy Committee, Specialist of the Planning and Finance Committee, Senior Specialist of the Steering Committee, and Secretary-General of the National Assembly. He is an expert in law and policy.

Vice Chairman Kim stated, "I am well aware that specialty contractors directly responsible for construction are currently facing many difficulties," and added, "I will do my best to develop policies and improve related systems to promptly alleviate the management burdens of specialty contractors so that they can have hope and focus on their livelihoods."

Vice Chairman Kim's term is three years, lasting until April 18, 2024.
