Completed Vaccination at Gwanak-gu Health Center on the 16th at 4 PM to Increase Residents' Trust in Vaccination

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 16th, Park Jun-hee, the mayor of Gwanak-gu, received the AstraZeneca (AZ) COVID-19 vaccine at the Gwanak-gu Public Health Center.

Mayor Park stated that, as the head of the local disaster and safety countermeasures headquarters, he took the vaccine to increase the trust and participation of residents in the government's vaccine safety.

Since the 15th, the district has been providing free vaccinations to about 32,800 people aged 75 and older and residents of daycare centers at the vaccination center set up at the Gwanak-gu Citizens' Sports Center (37 Nakseongdae-ro 3-gil).

Meanwhile, Mayor Park plans to guide the elderly visitors to the Gwanak-gu vaccination center on how to fill out the preliminary examination form, the vaccination procedure, and post-vaccination precautions throughout the operation period starting from the first day on the 15th.

Park Jun-hee, mayor of Gwanak-gu, said, “We will do our best to operate the Gwanak-gu vaccination center so that seniors aged 75 and older can receive the vaccine with confidence, and we will strive to ensure that residents can get vaccinated safely and quickly.
