[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] On Friday the 16th, rain is expected in most parts of the country.

The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Rain will fall in most areas nationwide except for the southern part of Jeollanam-do and Jeju Island."

There will be places in the central region experiencing gusts along with thunder and lightning.

Expected precipitation amounts are forecasted to be 5-20mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungnam region, northern Chungbuk, Jeonbuk, and the five western islands.

Rain around 5mm is expected in Gangwon Yeongdong, southern Chungbuk, northern Jeonnam, Gyeongbuk region, Gyeongnam, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo.

Along with the rain, winds will strengthen, making the perceived temperature lower than the previous day.

Morning low temperatures by region are expected to be △Seoul 9°C △Chuncheon 6°C △Gangneung 10°C △Daejeon 8°C △Cheongju 8°C △Daegu 7°C △Gwangju 10°C △Jeonju 10°C △Busan 11°C △Jeju 13°C.

Daytime high temperatures are expected to be △Seoul 16°C △Chuncheon 15°C △Gangneung 19°C △Daejeon 16°C △Cheongju 17°C △Daegu 19°C △Gwangju 18°C △Jeonju 17°C △Busan 18°C △Jeju 20°C.

Fine dust levels will be 'moderate' nationwide. However, due to the influence of yellow dust, all regions will temporarily experience 'bad' levels in the afternoon.

The Korea Meteorological Administration urged, "Please take special care to prevent damage caused by strong winds and gusts by inspecting and preparing in advance for outdoor facilities such as screening clinics, construction sites, vinyl greenhouses, traffic lights, and hazards like falling objects and signboards blown by the wind to ensure safety accidents do not occur."
