Samsung SDS Decides to Acquire Dongtan Data Center Worth 236.7 Billion KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Samsung SDS announced on the 15th that it will acquire the Dongtan Data Center in Gyeonggi-do for 236.7 billion KRW.

The purpose of the acquisition is to construct a data center for HPC (High Performance Computing). The company stated, "The counterparty of the transaction has not yet been confirmed" and "regarding the scheduled acquisition date, the construction completion and operation start date is December 2022."
