[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 15th that it will operate a 'COVID-19 Joint Mobile Inspection Team' until the 23rd in response to the recent increase in new COVID-19 cases.
The county formed an inspection team of 48 members from 6 departments to conduct intensive inspections until the 23rd on 16 vulnerable quarantine facilities, including entertainment establishments, singing practice rooms, restaurants and cafes, academies, bathhouses, and call centers.
They will also focus on checking whether basic quarantine rules are being followed for each facility and whether the allowed number of users is posted at the entrance of multi-use facilities, and plan to guide all visitors to fill out entry logs and use safe numbers.
According to the extension of the non-metropolitan social distancing level 1.5 for three weeks from the 12th of last month to the 2nd of next month, Jeollanam-do has implemented administrative orders to comply with social distancing, such as mandatory indoor and outdoor mask-wearing and posting basic quarantine rules.
A county official said, “Nationwide, cluster infections continue to occur in multi-use facilities such as academies and hospitals,” and added, “Facility managers should participate in quarantine activities such as thorough management of entry logs, and residents should strictly follow quarantine rules such as wearing masks and prohibiting private gatherings of five or more people.”
