‘Amateur Champion’ Bae Yong-joon "Joining CJ O Shopping~"

‘Amateur Champion’ Bae Yong-jun (21, photo) has joined CJ O Shopping.

On the 15th, CJ O Shopping announced, "We have signed a main sponsorship contract with Bae Yong-jun." A former national team member, he has a strong connection with the CJ Group. In 2018 and 2019, he earned the right to participate in the PGA Tour's The CJ Cup, competing against world-class players. CJ O Shopping also partnered with Hong Ye-eun (19) and Park Geum-gang (20), who play on the Symetra Tour (LPGA's developmental tour). Hong Ye-eun is a promising player who tied for 4th place in the second stage of the 2019 LPGA Qualifying (Q) School.

Although she qualified for the final Q-Series, she was under the minimum age of 18 required to participate in the tour, and instead received a full Symetra Tour card for 2020. Last year, she achieved a tie for 3rd place at the season-opening Florida's Natural Charity Classic. CJ O Shopping stated, "Through sports marketing, we aim to promote the development of the sports industry and become a reliable supporter for athletes with dreams," and promised "to continuously discover and fully support players."
