Softcamp Signs Business Agreement with GW CAD Korea to Jointly Promote Sales Pipeline

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Softcamp announced on the 15th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with design software (SW) specialist GW CAD Korea.

This business agreement was promoted to strategically utilize the expertise and experience assets of both companies for collaboration between Softcamp's Security 365 and GW CAD Korea's ZWCAD and ZW3D.

Through this business agreement, both companies will cooperate on ▲the development of Softcamp's Security 365 business ▲the development of GW CAD Korea's ZWCAD and ZW3D businesses ▲consulting and technical verification support for both companies' product technologies ▲joint promotion of a friendly sales pipeline during business development.

Specifically, the strategy is to expand functions by securing GW CAD Korea's CAD file processing technology within Softcamp's security cloud service Security 365. Customers are expected to experience a more user-friendly Security 365 with web viewer and collaborative editing functions for CAD files.

Additionally, GW CAD Korea's 2D CAD software ZWCAD and 3D CAD/CAM all-in-one software ZW3D products will be linked with Softcamp's Security 365. Through data usage in the cloud environment and collaboration convenience features via documents, it will provide strong security and collaboration convenience even in non-face-to-face work environments.

Baehwankuk, CEO of Softcamp, said, “The cooperation of two companies with professional capabilities in their respective positions has strengthened the promotion of the business models both companies are pursuing. We will strive to connect this to positive value creation for both companies through concrete and feasible cooperation.”

Choi Jongbok, CEO of GW CAD Korea, said, “From the perspective of companies where non-face-to-face work environments have become important, there are many concerns about preventing the export of CAD data and key design technologies. This business agreement will satisfy companies’ requirements for a safe CAD security environment, and since we have signed an agreement to actively cooperate with Softcamp, we will proceed actively to create a safe and efficient design work environment.”
