Job Fair Held for 2 Weeks Starting May 31

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]KB Kookmin Bank announced that KB Good Job won the grand prize in the social contribution brand category for 10 consecutive years at the ‘2021 Korea Top Awards’ ceremony held on the 15th.

The ‘Korea Top Awards,’ hosted by the Korea Journalists Association, selects and awards the best brands in South Korea each year by dividing the values pursued by brands into different categories.

KB Kookmin Bank’s representative social contribution project, KB Good Job, is a job connection project launched in 2011 to revitalize youth employment and resolve recruitment difficulties faced by small and medium-sized enterprises. Since its launch, it has successfully held a total of 18 online and offline job fairs.

In particular, last year, to comply with social distancing measures for COVID-19 prevention, the on-site job fair was replaced with a non-face-to-face ‘Ontact Job Fair’ through the KB Good Job website, attracting about 250,000 job seekers nationwide over four weeks and receiving enthusiastic responses. Through KB Good Job, Kookmin Bank provided over 65,000 job information listings and connected about 20,000 jobs by the end of February this year, firmly establishing itself as South Korea’s representative social contribution brand.

Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank will hold the ‘2021 1st KB Good Job Ontact Job Fair’ for two weeks starting May 31 through the KB Good Job website and mobile app. A bank official stated, "This fair, with participation from over 330 excellent companies, will operate various online programs such as video interviews and online job consulting," adding, "We will spare no effort to strengthen job matching between job seekers and recruiting companies."
