On the 14th, Hwang Hee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, appointed Jeong Gil-hwa as the president of the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange. The term is three years. President Jeong served as a PD, head of the Public Relations Review Department, and Latin America branch manager and correspondent at MBC. After retiring, he worked as a content business advisory committee member at the Korea Creative Content Agency and as a professor in the Department of Cultural Contents at Ajou University, actively working as an expert in content and cultural exchange. The Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange is a public institution affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, designated in February 2018 as a dedicated agency for promoting international cultural exchange to carry out overseas cultural exchange and cooperation projects.
