[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Starting at the end of this month, COVID-19 vaccination centers will be operational in all basic local governments nationwide.
On the 14th, the COVID-19 Vaccination Response Promotion Team announced that the number of vaccination centers, currently installed at 175 locations, will be increased to 264 by the end of this month.
Accordingly, at least one vaccination center will be established in each of the 250 cities, counties, and districts nationwide, allowing elderly citizens to receive vaccines more quickly and closer to their homes.
With the nationwide vaccination infrastructure being established, the speed of vaccination is expected to accelerate further. Eligible individuals can receive their vaccinations at the vaccination center in their registered address area according to their scheduled appointment.
Even if the first dose was received at a vaccination center outside the city, county, or district of the registered address, the second dose can be received at the vaccination center in the registered address area. If the address has changed due to moving, the vaccination center can be changed accordingly to receive the vaccine.
