Tmon Reports Operating Loss of 63.1 Billion KRW Last Year, Down 15% Year-on-Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON's operating loss and net loss last year decreased compared to the previous year. According to the audit report disclosed by TMON (CEO Lee Jin-won) on the 14th, the operating loss and net loss last year were recorded at 63.1 billion KRW and 70.3 billion KRW, respectively.Compared to the previous year, the operating loss improved by 15%, and the net loss improved by 41%. Operating revenue (sales) amounted to 151.2 billion KRW.

A TMON official stated, "Through continuous structural improvements, we have significantly reduced operating losses and net losses for three consecutive years, and this year, we expect to show even better performance through strengthening core competitiveness and new businesses." He added, "It is regrettable that due to COVID-19 last year, the impact on TMON's strengths in overseas travel and performance sectors inevitably led to a decrease in operating revenue."
