World Vision announced that Amorepacific has sponsored 100 million KRW in prize money for the 'Counselor of the Year Awards' ceremony.

The international relief and development NGO World Vision (Chairman Jo Myunghwan) stated on the 13th that it held a sponsorship fund transfer ceremony for the '2021 Amorepacific Counselor of the Year Awards' event at Amorepacific headquarters.

The 'Amorepacific Counselor of the Year Awards' is an event that selects, awards, and encourages Amore counselors who have achieved outstanding results. Since 2019, Amore counselors have not only enjoyed the joy of winning but have also donated their prize money to World Vision every year to support vulnerable groups, delivering 100 million KRW this year. The sponsorship funds will be used for World Vision's Dreaming Children crisis child support and housing environment improvement projects.

Amorepacific Chairman Suh Kyung-bae said, "Since 2019, we have continued to donate prize money so that through positive influence focused on inner values, individuals can express their own beauty and create a more beautiful world," adding, "I would like to take this opportunity to thank the counselors who are actively participating."

Since 2019, Amorepacific has been connected with World Vision and has participated in protecting the basic rights of marginalized groups by supporting ▲ Dreaming Children Love Lunch Kit, ▲ delivering sponsorship goods for the girls' basic rights protection campaign 'Basic for Girls.'

World Vision Chairman Jo Myunghwan said, "We deeply appreciate not only the annual prize money donations but also the participation in volunteer activities to improve the housing environment for children in difficult circumstances and elderly living alone on the 25th of last month, practicing warm sharing toward neighbors," and added, "The sponsorship funds will be properly delivered to families facing even greater difficulties due to COVID-19."
