[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Fasoo will reveal key solutions to address major issues in data and application security, including remote work and collaboration, personal information utilization, and open source management, at the ‘Fasoo Digital Intelligence 2021 (FDI 2021)’ event held online on the 14th.
Fasoo will conduct FDI 2021 under the theme “Empower and Secure Hybrid Workplace” through its official YouTube channel.
The event consists of 10 sessions, including a keynote by Fasoo CEO Gyugon Cho. Each detailed session begins with questions raised by IT personnel from various industries.
Opening FDI 2021 with the keynote, Fasoo CEO Gyugon Cho stated, “The digital world, which was merely an auxiliary to the physical world in the past, has become more important than the physical world since last year.” He added, “Building a digital workplace that can flexibly respond in an environment where the digital and physical worlds are mixed is crucial,” and introduced key countermeasures that companies and institutions need to prepare for cyber warfare.
The detailed sessions will cover major security issues and solutions related to remote and telecommuting work. The ‘Remote Work Security’ session will discuss enhanced security requirements and core elements of data management and security due to remote work. The ‘Cloud Data Security’ session will reveal ways to maintain the same document security policies in the cloud as in on-premises environments. The ‘Content Virtualization’ session will introduce document virtualization technology that is not restricted by physical location. The ‘Next-Generation Collaboration Platform’ session will present next-generation solutions that solve problems of existing collaboration platforms and maximize work efficiency and ease of management.
The ‘Application Security for Open Source Management’ session will address management and security issues of open source, which has recently become mainstream. It will emphasize the importance of compliance with open source licenses and the severity of security vulnerabilities, and introduce management tools specialized for open source.
Anyone interested can participate in FDI 2021 by pre-registering on the FDI website. On the day of the event, the 14th, a total of 10 sessions will be streamed sequentially from 10 a.m. on Fasoo’s official YouTube channel.
