Jangseong-gun Implements 'Yellow City Architectural Design Support Project'

[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Dooseok) announced on the 12th that it is implementing the '2021 Yellow City Architectural Design Support Project,' which is the first local government to promote color marketing, and is accepting participation applications.

Since the 6th local election term, the county has branded itself as 'Yellow City Jangseong' and has been designing residents' living spaces and urban landscapes in a sophisticated yellow color.

The Yellow City Architectural Design Support Project is a project that induces private sector participation in Yellow City urban design to establish regional identity and realize the value of governance in daily life. The main point of the project is to support the painting construction costs of private buildings located in the area with Yellow City design.

Last year, when it was first implemented, there was very high interest and participation from local residents, continuing through the second round of support.

This year, the project budget has been partially increased compared to last year, and for painting construction work costing more than 10 million KRW, up to 5 million KRW will be supported by the county budget.

This is an increase of 1 million KRW compared to last year's support, and projects with painting construction costs under 10 million KRW can receive up to 3 million KRW in support.

Applications for participation can be submitted by downloading the form posted in the announcement section on the county office website by the 16th, filling it out, and visiting the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center to submit it.

A county official said, "Through the Yellow City Architectural Design Support Project, we plan to create a more attractive urban landscape together with local residents."
