[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 12th that it will hold the 99th Children's Day commemorative event as a non-face-to-face drawing and writing contest to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the local community and to consider the safety of children and citizens.
The contest themes are “A World Where Children Are Respected,” “A World Without Violence,” and “The Happiness I Dream Of.” For drawing, participants can use any materials on 4 or 8 cut drawing paper. For writing, participants can freely compose poems or prose within 5 pages of A4 size paper (15pt font).
The submission period is from the 8th to the 23rd. Eligible participants are children aged 5 to under 18 years old residing in the jurisdiction.
Works should be submitted along with the application form by mail or in person to the Childcare Division of City Hall. In-person submissions are accepted from the 19th to the 21st. Written works can also be submitted via email by 6 PM on the deadline day.
