[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Capital announced on the 12th that it signed an exclusive financial partnership agreement with FCA Korea's Jeep brand at the 13th-floor conference room of KB Capital headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The partnership signing ceremony was held with the attendance of Hwang Su-nam, CEO of KB Capital, Jake Auman, CEO of FCA Korea, and executives from both companies. After the ceremony, discussions were held on developing financial programs that can provide differentiated financial services and benefits to customers using Jeep vehicles, such as long-term rental car programs and operating lease programs.
FCA Korea has been selling the sport utility vehicle (SUV) brand Jeep in Korea since 1992 and currently operates 18 showrooms and 18 service centers nationwide. Especially, thanks to the popularity of Jeep's flagship model Grand Cherokee, compact SUV Renegade, and off-road icon Wrangler, the annual cumulative sales exceeded 8,700 units last year.
CEO Hwang said, "We are very pleased to be able to sign an exclusive financial partnership agreement with Jeep, a strong player in the SUV market," and added, "We will do our best to provide competitive financial products and various services from KB Capital to Jeep buyers."
