"Busan Companies Eyeing Middle East, Gather Now" Busan City Calls for Participants in 'Abu Dhabi Oil & Gas Exhibition'

Over 2,200 Oil and Gas Companies from 60 Countries Worldwide Participate

Expecting Boost in Middle East Market Exports, Applications Open Until April 27

The Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Hyung-jun) is recruiting Busan-based companies to participate in the '2021 Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC 2021)' held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from November 15 to November 18 this year.

ADIPEC is the largest exhibition in the Middle East, with over 2,200 companies related to oil and gas from more than 60 countries worldwide participating.

At the conference held during the same period, the development directions of the oil, gas, and energy industries will be shared, and a platform for knowledge exchange necessary to maximize value creation will also be opened.

▲The support target is six regional small and medium-sized enterprises with export amounts under 20 million USD in the previous year, and ▲each participating company will be supported up to 7 million KRW for exhibition booth fees and related expenses.

The application period is from April 13 to April 27, and applications can be submitted through the Busan Overseas Marketing Integrated System website. For inquiries, contact the Global Business Team at the Busan Economic Promotion Agency.

Mayor Park Hyung-jun of Busan said, “Although non-face-to-face overseas marketing has indeed been a great help to export companies during the COVID-19 situation, there are also practical limitations to video consultations,” adding, “Participating in this exhibition will be a great opportunity to meet overseas buyers directly, generate export results, and expand business networks.”
