Chungnam Supports Comprehensive Health Checkup Costs for Small Business Owners

[Asia Economy (Naepo) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Chungnam Province will partially support the comprehensive health checkup costs for local small business owners.

On the 12th, the province announced that it will promote the "Small Business Owners Comprehensive Health Checkup Support Project." The project is designed to provide up to 250,000 KRW, covering 50% of the checkup costs when small business owners undergo comprehensive health examinations.

The target beneficiaries are small business owners operating in the region, excluding those in industries not eligible for small business policy fund support and those involved in luxury consumption or speculative promotion industries.

The application period is from the 12th to the 30th, and application documents can be submitted at the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency's Chungnam Small Business Support Center.

The selection results are scheduled to be announced in early next month on the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency's Chungnam Small Business Support Center website.

Selected applicants must choose a hospital capable of conducting health checkups by July 3rd, make individual reservations, and undergo the examination. Afterwards, by submitting the checkup costs along with the application documents, they can receive financial support.

For more detailed information about the support project, please refer to the province’s website and the announcement section of the support project on the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency's Chungnam Small Business Support Center website.

Lee Seong-il, head of the Small Business and Enterprise Division of the province, said, "This project is being promoted to reduce the financial burden of health checkups for small business owners and to help them focus on their businesses," adding, "We ask for the active interest and participation of local small business owners."
