CU, Black Day Event... 50% Discount on Jjajang Products When Paying with Paycoin

CU offers a 50% discount to customers who pay for Jjajang products with Paycoin until the 14th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] CU announced on the 12th that it will offer a 50% discount to customers who pay for Jjajang products with Paycoin in celebration of Black Day until the 14th.

The discount event applies to a total of six products: Jjajjaroni bag noodles, Jinjinjjara cup noodles, Heart Signal Jjarabboki cup noodles, Pororo Jjajang small cup noodles, Longjulmyeon Jjajang cup noodles, and 3-Minute Beef Ganjjajang. For Pororo Jjajang small cup noodles, purchasing three with Paycoin allows customers to buy them at about a 70% discounted price, and for the 3-Minute Beef Ganjjajang, which has a 1+1 event only on the 14th, customers can buy four for the price of one. The maximum discount per transaction is 3,000 KRW, and the event will automatically end once the prepared quantity (200,000 units) is sold out.

To pay, customers need to sign up for Paycoin, a cryptocurrency payment app, charge Paycoin, and then present the barcode generated on the main screen to the staff. Paycoin is a blockchain-based cryptocurrency payment method, and its usage is gradually expanding beyond convenience stores to bookstores, marts, cinemas, and more.
