One-Stop Service for Self-Activated Phones at LGU+ Online Mall

With the recent increase in demand for unlocked phones, LG Uplus has partnered with 'Somagency,' an official online partner of Samsung Electronics, to sell unlocked phones on U+Shop. As a result, customers who want to use unlocked phones can purchase the device, subscribe to a plan, and activate the USIM all at once on U+Shop.

The main features of the U+Shop unlocked phone activation service include ▲up to 12% constant discount on devices (up to 7% device discount plus up to 5% discount coupons) ▲up to 32% cheaper no-contract direct plans compared to existing plans ▲practical benefits such as the ‘U+Shop exclusive partnership pack’ when subscribing to direct plans ▲convenient USIM self-activation, and more.

LG Uplus explained, "Previously, customers had to compare discount prices across various distribution channels and research subscription procedures and plans themselves to purchase unlocked phones at affordable prices. We launched this service to resolve such inconveniences."

Customers can purchase Samsung Electronics unlocked devices such as the Galaxy S21 series, Note20 series, Z Fold2, Z Flip 5G, S20 FE, A51, A31, and A12 at up to 12% discounted prices on U+Shop. Manufacturer gifts worth approximately 100,000 KRW are also provided.

Additionally, if customers want to subscribe to LG Uplus mobile services after purchasing a device, 'self-activation' is also available. After completing USIM activation, customers simply insert the delivered USIM into the device themselves.

There are no plan restrictions. Customers can subscribe to all plans offered by LG Uplus. In particular, subscribing to the online-only direct plans specialized for no-contract unlocked phones offers up to 32% savings compared to existing plans, along with the ‘U+Shop exclusive partnership pack’ benefits, which include discount coupons usable at partner companies every month for 24 months.
