[Photo] Oh Seung-rok, Nowon District Mayor, Attends Opening Ceremony of Bulamsan Healing Town Facility

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 10th at 2 p.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the opening ceremony of the Nowon Garden Support Center and Observatory facilities held at the Healing Garden of Bulamsan Garden Support Center in Nowon District.

The Bulamsan Observatory, unveiled for the first time through this opening ceremony, is designed with elegant curves reminiscent of butterfly wings.

The observatory has a total floor area of 143.57㎡ and a height of 10 meters. It is designed with a 15-passenger elevator and gentle stairs on both sides, allowing access from three directions.

Even those with mobility difficulties can easily ascend the observatory to enjoy the famous mountains of Seoul, such as Bulamsan, Suraksan, and Dobongsan.

The Nowon Garden Support Center, which began temporary operation last February and has been gaining popularity through word of mouth among residents, officially opens through this ceremony. The Garden Support Center includes a home gardening shop, a companion plant hospital, a garden library, and a glass greenhouse equipped with a cypress grass area for children. The caf? 4rest inside the center has an outdoor terrace where visitors can enjoy drinks while admiring the scenery of Bulamsan.

Additionally, Bulamsan Healing Town features a Butterfly Garden, an Ecological Learning Center, Azalea Hill, a Forest Healing Center, a Children's Forest Experience Area, and walking trails, allowing people of all ages to enjoy nature and relax.

The opening ceremony was held with the attendance of Mayor Oh Seung-rok and several officials, proceeding with a congratulatory performance by the popera duo 'Hyu,' introduction of guests, progress report, presentation of appreciation plaques, the mayor’s greetings and congratulatory speeches, unveiling ceremony, and a tour of the facilities.
