[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical announced on the 9th that it will launch a new product, ‘Gyeol Protein Plus,’ which allows for easy intake of insufficient protein, and will hold a launch broadcast on Lotte Home Shopping on the 12th.
‘Gyeol Protein Plus’ is a product jointly developed through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical, well known for the national vitamin C brand ‘Lemona,’ and Dr. Juhong Park, a doctor of integrated Western and Korean medicine.
‘Gyeol Protein Plus’ is a health functional food recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its functionality, containing six functional ingredients including animal and plant-based proteins, calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, vitamin B6, and zinc. It also includes various premium ingredients such as French snail mucin, Angelica pubescens, and safflower seed extract powder, a traditional Korean medicine ingredient.
‘Gyeol Protein Plus’ is a powder product; by mixing one sachet (36g) per day with water, you can enjoy a delicious and convenient intake of 20g of protein, 420mg of calcium, 110mg of magnesium, and more.
A Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical official said, “Protein, an essential component of body tissues, gradually decreases with age, so it is advisable to consistently consume high-protein content.” He added, “We hope that ‘Gyeol Protein Plus,’ which combines protein with five functional ingredients, will help maintain the health of the whole family.”
‘Gyeol Protein Plus’ will be sold through a launch broadcast on Lotte Home Shopping coinciding with its release.
