"VR Gaming in Guest Rooms" Lotte Hotel Launches 'Real VR Package' Nationwide

VR Tours, Games, and OTT Viewing Available in 15 Domestic Hotel Rooms

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Hotel announced on the 7th that it will offer the 'Real VR Package' until December 31, allowing guests to enjoy a unique relaxation time through virtual reality (VR) experiences in their rooms.

This package is available at 15 hotels in Korea (Lotte Hotel, L7 Hotel, Lotte City Hotel). The rentable VR devices contain various VR content, including over 100 games and more than 300 videos. An OTT viewing service that allows watching Netflix and YouTube is also installed.

Lotte Hotel Seoul has prepared a product preferred by solo customers who want to enjoy a 'honkangseu' (solo vacation) in their rooms. It includes one night in a Superior room, in-room dining breakfast for one, and one bottle of wine. Prices start from 247,000 KRW. Lotte Hotel World offers a Deluxe room for one night and breakfast for two, making it ideal for couples. Prices start from 205,000 KRW.

Lotte Hotel Jeju has enhanced entertainment benefits. It includes one night in a Deluxe room, breakfast for three (two adults, one child), two one-time passes to Rock Bowling for two people, one Champion R admission ticket for one child, and one swimming cushion. Prices start from 440,000 KRW. Lotte Hotel Ulsan offers a Deluxe room one-night room-only package starting from 159,000 KRW. At Lotte Hotel Busan, spacious Deluxe Triple rooms are available for families of three or more. Benefits such as breakfast for three and fitness center access for three can be enjoyed starting from 240,000 KRW. All prices are exclusive of tax and service charges.

L7 Hotels (Myeongdong, Hongdae, Gangnam) are sold from 95,000 KRW, and Lotte City Hotels (Mapo, Gimpo, Guro, Myeongdong, Daejeon, Jeju, Ulsan) from 69,700 KRW (tax excluded).

A Lotte Hotel official said, "As part of tech tourism, we have expanded the sale of VR packages across all domestic Lotte Hotels to meet customer demand for enjoying both relaxation and entertainment within their rooms."
