Gyeongbuk Police Agency Conducts Search and Seizure on LH Daegu-Gyeongbuk, Gyeongsan City Hall over 'Real Estate Speculation Allegations' (Update)

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] The police have launched a forced investigation into the Daeeim Public Housing District in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk, where suspicions of real estate speculation have arisen.

The Real Estate Speculation Task Force of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency announced on the 6th that they are conducting a search and seizure targeting the Urban Division of Gyeongsan City Hall and the LH Daegu-Gyeongbuk Headquarters.

In the Daeeim District, suspicions of speculation by some public officials have recently been raised during the public housing district development project. Gyeongsan City is also conducting a full investigation by obtaining consent forms for the use of personal information from about 1,300 public officials.
