Shinyoung Securities Establishes Employee Lounge Equipped with Massage Devices and Garment Care Machines

Opened 'Healing Lounge' on the 11th Floor of Yeouido Headquarters Building

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Shin Young Securities has established an employee rest area equipped with massage devices and clothing care machines, staffed by nationally certified health keepers (massage therapists).

Shin Young Securities announced on the 1st that it has opened this rest area called the 'Healing Lounge.'

The Healing Lounge, located on the 11th floor of the Yeouido headquarters building in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, is a renovated conference room. A nationally certified health keeper will be stationed there, and it is equipped with medical massage devices and clothing care machines to help employees relax.

Previously, in 2018, Shin Young Securities remodeled its building and created an employee rest area on the 11th floor furnished with coffee machines, premium tables, and chairs. Recently, to foster organizational culture, it also held a non-face-to-face in-house event called the 'On and Off Race.' Using a fitness certification application (app), employees competed individually and in teams across four categories: walking, running, hiking, and cycling.

A Shin Young Securities official stated, "The Healing Lounge is a rest space created to help employees recover from fatigue and boost work vitality," adding, "It was established to enhance employee welfare, which can lead to better customer service."
