[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Department Store announced on the 1st that it will open 'Maison Archive,' a home styling curation shop, at its main branch on the 2nd.
Maison Archive focuses on attracting brands that are popular on SNS and targets women in their 30s and 40s who are interested in home styling. It offers a wide range of lifestyle products including furniture, home decor, kitchenware, tableware, as well as art accessories.
Additionally, a separate space within the store is arranged to create themed showrooms such as living, dining, kitchen, and terrace, proposing home styling that best suits the products. Based on styling know-how, customized consultation services are also provided for each customer.
Lotte Department Store plans to open stores at Dongtan and Jamsil branches later this year, starting with the main branch. A Lotte Department Store official said, "Home styling is still a field less familiar to customers compared to fashion," and added, "We will strive to suggest home styling ideas through themed space arrangements and quickly introduce rising brands to present customers with various tastes."
