Busan Gijang-gun, NH Nonghyup Bank, and Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation Sign Agreement to Support Small Businesses in Gijang Busan Gijang-gun, NH Nonghyup Bank Gijang-gun Branch, and Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation signed a business agreement in 2021 to support small business owners in Gijang-gun, Busan.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan Gijang-gun signed a business agreement on the 30th with NH Nonghyup Bank Gijang-gun Branch (Branch Manager Park Hyun-min) and Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation (Lee Kyung-man, Head of Guarantee Support Headquarters) for the ‘2021 Busan City Gijang-gun Small Business Support’.

The three organizations will launch a low-interest financial support project through rent burden reduction and interest subsidy for small business owners in the Gijang-gun area who are struggling to maintain their businesses due to the resurgence of COVID-19.

NH Nonghyup Bank will additionally contribute 100 million KRW to the Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation besides the regular contribution and separately allocate 1.5 billion KRW, which is 15 times the contribution, to Gijang-gun.

The support targets are self-employed and small business owners with business locations in Gijang-gun, prioritizing tenants and companies less than three years after startup, and applications can be made through all Nonghyup Bank branches.

A Gijang-gun official said, “We hope that the financial support will be of some help to local self-employed and small business owners struggling due to COVID-19,” and added, “We will do our best to revitalize the local economy.”
