Change to a Three-Person Representative System

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction held the 58th regular general shareholders' meeting on the 30th at Bundang Doosan Tower and announced the appointment of Park Sang-hyun, Vice President and Head of the Financial Management Division, as a new co-CEO.
With this, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction changed from a two-person co-CEO system with Chairman Park Ji-won and President Jung Yeon-in to a three-person co-CEO system including Vice President Park. Previously, the company also operated under a three-person co-CEO system in 2012, 2018, and 2019.
The newly appointed CEO Park joined Doosan Corporation in 2004 as Head of the Strategic Planning Division. He has served as CFO of Doosan Infracore, CFO of Doosan Corporation's holding division, and CEO and CFO of Doosan Bobcat. Since last year, he has been working as Head of the Financial Management Division at Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction.
Meanwhile, at the same regular shareholders' meeting, the agenda to newly appoint Professor Bae Jin-han of Korea University Business School as an outside director was also proposed and approved.
