Operation of 'Happy Together Win-Win Market' and 'Dreaming Store' at GS Shop and GS My Shop
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] GS Home Shopping announced on the 30th that it will recruit companies to participate in the 'Innovation Partnership' project and the 'Industrial Innovation Movement' project until the 9th of next month to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized partner companies.
The selected small and medium-sized partner companies will form a consortium with GS Home Shopping and carry out corporate innovation activities through consulting until the end of the year. Equipment and consulting costs worth between 18 million and 40 million KRW per company will be supported.
The Innovation Partnership is a project to recruit small and medium-sized enterprises that GS Home Shopping will nurture as core partners. GS Home Shopping and participating companies will jointly carry out innovation projects across three areas: product innovation through new product development, prototype production, design, and patent certification; process innovation such as technical guidance and digital infrastructure establishment; and organizational innovation including eco-friendly and safety management.
The Industrial Innovation Movement is conducted for micro and small enterprises. Through two areas of innovation?support for innovation consulting to improve productivity and support for building customized smart factories for small and medium-sized enterprises?it aims to promote the improvement of corporate environments applying smart technologies. In particular, the project plans to expand practical welfare benefits for employees of small and medium-sized enterprises.
In addition to this project, GS Home Shopping is preparing practical measures to help expand sales channels for small and medium-sized enterprises and grow together. Last year, GS Shop newly launched a program called 'Happy Together - Win-Win Market,' which exclusively introduces products from small and medium-sized enterprises struggling due to COVID-19, and the program 'I Love Small and Medium Enterprises,' which introduces small and medium-sized enterprise products for free, is broadcast more than 300 times annually.
Especially on the data home shopping channel 'GS My Shop,' from this year, the broadcast 'Dreaming Store' to expand new home shopping entries for small and medium-sized enterprises has been expanded from twice a month to twice a week.
