"Evolving Technology."
The Titleist Scotty Cameron Phantom X putter (photo) features an impressive new head design. Four additional lines?X5, X5.5, X11, and X11.4?expand the range of options. Most notably, attention should be paid to the composite material construction. Precisely milled 303 stainless steel extends from the face to the body. Lightweight 6061 aluminum creates the sole and flange with optimal weight distribution.
It delivers improved moment of inertia (MOI), as well as consistent impact sound and a smooth feel. The head design also originated from feedback by tour players. It is based on the popular X5 and X12 models from the existing X collection. The compact head and enhanced wing shape stand out. Instead of the traditional Yellow Dot alignment, it features a single line alignment. The X5 and X5.5 Black, and X11 and X11.5 Light models come in gray color.
The simple alignment adds focus during the address process with a sleek design. Optimized shaft and neck options based on the toe-flow preferred by golfers are standard. The X5 and X11 have mid-band shafts without joints to aid in aiming the target line. The X5.5 features a shaft joined with a small slant neck. The X11.5 supports an arc-shaped putting stroke.
