Recruiting 30 Participating Companies and Job Seekers Until September 30... Project Runs Until December... Strengthening Youth Employment Stability Through Employment Subsidies, In-House Mentoring Fees, and Self-Development Training Expenses
The district conducted a customized employment support project last year targeting companies and job seekers.
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Chang-woo Lee) will promote the ‘2030 Customized Employment Support’ project until December.
Last year, 34 job seekers and 20 companies participated in the ‘Customized Employment Support’ project.
The eligible companies are those located in Seoul and include ▲priority support companies under the Employment Insurance Act or small and medium-sized enterprises ▲youth start-ups and venture companies among companies with fewer than five employees, cultural content businesses ▲non-profit organizations that align with the project’s purpose.
Job seekers include 30 individuals who are Dongjak-gu residents aged 19 to 39, graduates (or expected graduates) of local universities (graduate schools), or participants in job projects conducted by the district this year.
The main support includes ▲employment subsidies for companies paying 80% of the ordinary wage for three months (up to 1.45 million KRW per month) ▲a monthly mentoring fee of 80,000 KRW for on-the-job training and mentoring, and for hires ▲education expenses for self-development up to 300,000 KRW per month, supporting up to two people per company. Support is provided only if hired and joined through this project.
Companies and job seekers wishing to apply must submit the application form, a copy of the business registration certificate, and proof of employment insurance subscription by visiting the district office’s Job Policy Division or by email (k7101415@dongjak.go.kr) by September 30.
For participating companies, final selection will be made within a week after submission through an on-site visit, and customized job seeker matching will be conducted via the social headhunter operated by the district.
For more details, contact the Dongjak-gu Office Job Policy Division.
Yoon So-yeon, head of the Job Policy Division, said, “We hope this project will create a virtuous cycle of jobs where companies and job seekers can grow together,” and added, “We encourage active participation from interested companies and job seekers.”
