Dentis Subsidiary Teenes Unveiled on 20th
Launching April 7... Reduced Additional Costs and More Precise Diagnosis Possible
Shim Ki-bong, CEO of Dentis, is delivering a congratulatory speech at the Seraphin clear aligner unveiling event held on the 20th at the Millennium Hilton Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Dentis has unveiled a platform that digitally predicts and applies the entire process of clear aligner treatment for teeth. It is expected that customized products can be easily used through more precise diagnosis.
Dentis' subsidiary TNS held 'The Seraphin Night Launch Show' event on the 20th at the Millennium Hilton Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, and introduced the digital clear aligner platform service brand 'Seraphin.'
The Seraphin clear aligner system revealed at the event conducts the entire process from digital clear aligner diagnosis and treatment planning on the platform to device manufacturing, based on clinical verification by domestic orthodontic specialists. This system is the first of its kind in Korea. In December last year, it received Class 2 medical device certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
Seraphin is scheduled to be launched on April 7. Depending on the difficulty of orthodontic treatment, it offers customized services for each orthodontic case, categorized as ▲Seraphin10 ▲Seraphin20 ▲Seraphin Regular ▲Seraphin Regular AP, along with a primary orthodontic device service for pediatric patients.
Its strengths lie in reasonable pricing and diverse sales policies. It is praised for addressing the drawback of existing clear aligner products where additional device manufacturing incurs extra costs during treatment. For Seraphin Regular, additional device orders can be made without extra cost for up to five years. Seraphin10 and Seraphin20 also provide one-time additional order service.
Meanwhile, TNS also explained the future roadmap of the Seraphin service at the event. After the launch next month, they plan to secure market share through supply to major domestic university hospitals and acquire general practitioner customers through clinical education. They also intend to actively target overseas markets after obtaining the ongoing European CE certification and U.S. FDA approval.
The Seraphin service can be ordered through the official Seraphin website. On the 17th of next month, the Seraphin orthodontic clinical education program 'Seraphin The First' will be held at Dentis Seoul Munjeong Campus. Various clinical seminars for dentists and others will also be prepared thereafter.
Jang Won-geon, CEO of TNS, stated, "The global clear aligner market is expected to grow from 3.1 trillion KRW in 2016 to 8.8 trillion KRW by 2025," adding, "We will do our best to establish Seraphin not only as a 'K-clear aligner brand' leading the popularization of digital clear aligners but also to achieve the No. 1 domestic market share next year and the No. 2 global market share by 2025."
