[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Soyoung] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon engaged in a second round of heated exchanges on the 21st with reporter Son Byung-kwan, who published a book claiming to reveal the truth behind the sexual harassment case involving the late former Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon.
On the same day, Son posted on his Facebook a message titled "Radio Interview Regarding the Park Won-soon Case Has Been Canceled," sharing his thoughts on the cancellation and the content of the planned interview.
He stated, "It seems the cancellation was due to failure in securing the victim and women's organizations who needed to present counterarguments to my interview," and criticized, "This is the current state of journalism in our country. It's akin to when the Lee Myung-bak BBK and National Intelligence Service comment controversies arose?if one party involved does not exercise their right to reply, the related topics are completely avoided."
He further addressed the victim, saying, "This is Rhodes, so run here. Neither the courts nor the Human Rights Commission will guarantee your 'rosy future' forever." The phrase "This is Rhodes, so run here" is a commonly cited expression emphasizing that true ability must be proven on the field.
In response, former professor Jin shared the post, saying, "Rhodes or whatever, just stop the nonsense," and added, "That (radio interview) invitation came to me. I was the one who declined it." He continued, "Why? Because secondary victimization should not be done on public broadcasting," calling it "a criminal act that must not be committed."
He also harshly criticized, "Honestly, the way you make a living is really shabby. Hey, does the money you earn go down your throat?"
In response to Jin's post, reporter Son commented, "If secondary victimization occurs on public broadcasting, what laws apply and what level of punishment is there? I look forward to a more original answer than the 'defamation' charge that Professor Jin was convicted of by the Supreme Court."
Then Jin retorted, "Looks like you're trying noise marketing, but don't live your life so dirty," and again criticized, "Does that royalty go down your throat? Are you even human?"

Reporter Son replied, "Still, it seems you read the book? I look forward to it," and sarcastically added, "But I can't help feeling that Chairman Yoo Si-min is oddly venting to me about not wanting to debate with Professor Jin anymore. Unlike Byeon Hee-jae, I wouldn't suddenly bring up unexpected arguments in a scheduled debate."
Jin responded, "I haven't read it... Am I maggots? Eat shit. Keep that shit as the life source of the hardcore Moon Jae-in supporters."
Their first round of exchanges occurred on the 17th, the day of the victim's press conference. Reporter Son posted an article titled "Victim of the April Incident, Please Sue Me," stating, "The victim repeatedly sent messages to stop secondary victimization, but many of the arguments that see 'victim = liar' come from my book ('The Birth of Tragedy'). To be direct, my book is not a personal 'claim' but contains testimonies from witnesses."
In response, Jin commented, "What are you doing now? Are you crazy? I didn't know you were this low."

Reporter Son then responded, "It won't be too late to scold me after you have read both my book and the victim's press conference responses," and Jin criticized, "Do you have to actually eat shit to call it shit?"
On the 22nd, reporter Son posted a new article saying, "Jin Joong-kwon said he will cover me in his Wednesday column in JoongAng Ilbo, so I will wait," signaling a continuation of their heated exchanges.
